Hormones of the Menstrual Cycle

  • Hedge Meadow Herbs + Apothecary 25 Brodhead Street Mazomanie, WI, 53560 United States (map)

The menstrual cycle doesn't have to be a mystery! Join Ashley Hartman Annis to learn all about the 4 main hormones of the menstrual cycle (FSH, estrogen, LH, and progesterone). We'll discuss why these hormones are important for reproductive / overall health, how to track these hormones in your own body (if you have a cycle!), and how to connect our menstrual cycles to other cycles in our world. You deserve to know how your beautiful & wise body works. This workshop is gender inclusive (all bodies welcome!), trauma informed, and will have space for conversation & story-sharing. Mini zine included!

This class is for you if... you're curious about reproductive hormones and what they do; you're interested in cycles and want to better understand & respect the cycles in your own body (or the bodies of people you love!); you're on a body literacy journey and want more tools for understanding your menstrual cycle. We will be using gender-inclusive language around bodies/reproduction!

This class is not for you if... you're looking for a specific diagnosis related to your hormonal health.
