In this lecture, you’ll learn about the magic, folkways, and wisdom of All Hallows, the Last Harvest, and Rönnträd (Rowan Tree). This class will take you under the bramble arch, into the sacred wells of mystery, and through the smoke of the first Winter fire. Participants will learn about traditional divination methods, plantlore, folk charms, the power of Rowan, sacred rituals for the Celtic new year, the magic of the last harvest, fairy lore, and more! We’ll learn about traditions of old and how to apply them to our lives today. Come away from this class inspired to move into the sacred dark months ahead.
About the Teacher:
Hayley is a folklorist, spiritual teacher, and healer with 10 years of experience and training. She is a lineage holder and teacher in the tradition of Trolldom, Scandinavian folk spirituality and wisdom. She offers classes in Scandinavian and British Isles spirituality and traditional folk healing. She also offers spiritual Bota & Återställa (healing), Välsignelser (blessings), intuitive guidance, and Spådom. She specializes in Lövjeri (leaf-craft), which is the practice of spiritual healing with plants. In addition to her training in folk ways, she has also trained in modern energy healing, plant spirit medicine, shamanic healing, and divination.

This 2-hour class will be held at Hedge Meadow Herbs + Apothecary located at 25 Brodhead St in Mazomanie, WI.
What to Expect/Bring:
This class is for you if you would like to learn the folkways and magic of Samhuinn and the last harvest
This class is not for you if you do not like lecture style classes, or are not interested in folklore and magic.
Herbal tea will be provided but please bring whatever else you need to take care of yourself. Please also bring a pen and paper.
Accessibility:
We will be seated in chairs during this class. Feel free to bring a floor pillow if you prefer sitting that way. Please note that you must go up two stairs to enter the building.
Covid Safety:
Weather-permitting, the door will remain cracked throughout the duration of class and there will be an air purifier running in the space. Masks are not required but always encouraged. Please use common sense and do not attend class if you’re sick, if someone in your household is sick, or if you know you’ve been exposed to an infectious pathogen.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
We reserve the right to cancel class at any point due to a lack of interest. If this is the case, anyone who has signed up will receive a full refund.
If you sign up for class but can no longer attend, please let us know at least 48 hours prior to class for a full refund. If you let us know the day prior to class, you will receive a 50% refund. Sorry, but if you cancel the day of class you will not receive a refund.
