Come celebrate the autumnal equinox with us by learning a new skill you will take with you for many autumns to come!
“Fire Cider” is a term coined by Rosemary Gladstar that refers to an infused vinegar that contains many immune boosting ingredients, which is wonderful for flu and cold season. We’ll discuss all the ingredients typically found in a traditional fire cider, but with a FAMILIAR twist: we’ll also discuss apple magic, crafting simple spells, ancestral healing through herbs, and honoring your personal lineages and traditions through food and drink.
After our discussion, we’ll weave a collective spell together and embody what we learned through the ritual. You’ll go home with a winter’s supply of fire cider and a new skill that you can gift to others just in time for the holidays.
This class is for you if you can handle a kitchen knife, are new to ancestral healing practices and folk magic, working with herbs, or fire cider, and have no where to be in a rush!
This class is not for you if simple herbalism might be an old hat, or if you’re very sensitive to being around different kinds of herbs or spicy ingredients!
