In this introductory broom-making class, Rachael Gonzalez of FAMILIAR will walk you through how to craft your very own hand broom in the style of your choice- while discussing the history, lore and care of old-fashioned hand / kitchen / altar brooms. Come learn a new skill in a relaxed, fun craft circle.
This class is for you if… you’ve never made a broom before and you have some crafting experience! Broom making can be messy, and requires a little patience and a calm approach.
This class is not for you if… you have a tendency to rush the process, have somewhere else to be, or find crafting very frustrating.
